Basically you throw all the ingredients into a blender turn it on for a few seconds and you have a delicious high fibre weight loss shake.
If you want a thicker, richer shake use low-fat yoghurts. For a lighter, cool, drink use low-fat milk.
For a smoother consistency mill oat bran to flour consistency in food processor, for a thicker consistency use un-milled.
Apple Banana Shake
1 cup low-fat milk.
1 ripe banana.
1/3 cup apple juice.
1 half cup oat bran milled to flour consistency.
Put all ingredients into blender, blend for 1 to 2 min.
Strawberry Shake
1 cup low-fat milk.
1/2 cup oat bran milled to flour consistency.
1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries.
Pineapple Smoothie.
1 cup low-fat milk.
1/2 cup oat bran milled to flour consistency.
1/3 cup pineapple juice.
1/4 cup crushed pineapple (unsweetened).
